“Fossil of a Golden Wing” explores the relationship between impermanence, preservation, and transformation through an expressive abstract composition. The central motif of a golden-yellow wing, formed through textured layers of paint, evokes the fossilized remains of a once-living form. Its organic structure contrasts with bold, dynamic blue brushstrokes, while black surfaces and red accents create strong chromatic and compositional tension. Pronounced textures, layered surfaces, and contrasts between light and dark establish a sense of fragmented reality, where the boundaries between movement and stillness gradually dissolve. The artwork symbolically explores the traces of existence, transforming a former symbol of freedom and movement into a lasting imprint of time.
